Taita Leila will be in Boston this Saturday!
The Boston Palestine Film Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a fundraising dinner before the annual program in October. The dinner includes a silent auction, featuring crafts and heritage items from all over Palestine, and we'll be taking part! We've sent over a three-piece set from our inaugural Qabbeh collection, each of a different type of embroidery: Bethlehem famous for its couched tahriri stitch, our bestseller Ramallah in cross-stitch, and the Galilee cape featuring patchwork.
Though this festival is renowned for the incredible scope of film screened, what we like most about it is the tatreez logo! The dinner also includes the charming Suad Amiry as the keynote speaker, founder of RIWAQ: Center of Architectural Conservation and most famous for her acclaimed memoir Sharon and My Mother-in-Law.
